Hi everyone, and welcome to Project YOU. I’m Stacey, founder of Project YOU and a lover of food, fitness, holidays, snapchat filters and trying to maintain a social life. I have a passion for fitness, health, nutrition and helping others achieve their fitness goals.

Here’s a bit of background into how Project YOU began:

When you feel that you’ve reached the end and life seems to be drained of all purpose, what a wonderful opportunity to turn over a new page and start all over again. That’s exactly what I did, I felt low, I had no confidence, the brand I’d worked so hard to build for over a year had been taken away from me, which devastated me. I’d found a job that combined two of my passions (social media marketing and health and nutrition) and it was gone, but unbeknown to me at the time, it was the best thing that could have happened to me.

I’ve always believed in the power of positivity, but sometimes, life happens and you lose your way. Everything that has ever happened to me in my life (good and bad) has made me who I am, for that I’m forever grateful. I don’t see any time spend on anything as wasted time, I see it as growing time.

I found that the only way to get through the hardest of times in life is to learn to love yourself enough to start a new chapter and to stop dwelling on past problems, mistakes and issues. Do what makes you happy and I want to help as many people as possible do the same thing, through fitness.

Why am I doing this?

Because throughout some negative times in my life last year, I discovered a passion for something.

Because I’ve found my purpose and calling in life and I LOVE helping people make positive changes to their life, whether that be; losing weight, getting fit or achieving personal development goals.

Because of the online community of like-minded people who shared similar interests as me.

Because I enjoy inspiring and educating people on a healthy way of living and a happy state of existence, I want to show people that being healthy doesn’t have to be boring and working out can actually be really FUN. (Believe me I HATED working out, but now – it’s the BEST part of my day).
