I LOVE jam. It’s totally the best ever toast topping (especially with almond butter) and it’s so easy to make yourself. I made this to top my delicious sweet potato toast and have been using it for my breakfast everyday. I’ve had it on porridge, sourdough and pancakes this week.

Ingredients (10 X 25g servings):
300g frozen strawberries
100g apple sauce
1tbsp chia seeds
Juice from 1/2 lemon
- Add the frozen strawberries, lemon juice and apple sauce to a saucepan and gently heat until the strawberries have softened.
- Start to mash up the strawberries and add in the chia seeds. Mix until well combined.
- Store in a glass jar and keep refrigerated.
