Healthy Strawberry, Apple & Chia Jam

I LOVE jam. It’s totally the best ever toast topping (especially with almond butter) and it’s so easy to make yourself. I made this to top my delicious sweet potato toast and have been using it for my breakfast everyday. I’ve had it on porridge, sourdough and pancakes this week.

You want to know the best bit about it? It’s soon healthy – free from refined sugars, high in potassium and vitamin C and has only 21 calories per serving. You HAVE to try it…….Stacey Hogan Sweet Potato Toast

Ingredients (10 X 25g servings):

300g frozen strawberries
100g apple sauce
1tbsp chia seeds
Juice from 1/2 lemon

Method:

  1. Add the frozen strawberries, lemon juice and apple sauce to a saucepan and gently heat until the strawberries have softened.
  2. Start to mash up the strawberries and add in the chia seeds. Mix until well combined.
  3. Store in a glass jar and keep refrigerated.

Love from Stacey x
